WordPress footer version change from admin panel

Are you looking for change the default WordPress footer version and text? This post is for you focusing on how to change the default WordPress footer version and text. After install WordPress CMS you will look at footer admin panel two text first one at footer left area that is “Thank you for creating with WordPress” and second one is ” Get Version 3.XXX” .

NB : Keep a backup your theme  function.php file before any changes.

Follow the steps for the change the default WordPress footer version text: 

  1. Open your theme function.php file and paste the code at the bottom of file before the php closing sign ?>
  2. //change footer version and text
    add_filter( 'admin_footer_text', 'my_footer_text' );
    add_filter( 'update_footer', 'my_footer_version', 11 );
    function my_footer_text() {
    return 'its learn24bd.com';
    function my_footer_version() {
    return 'All rights reserved at learn24bd';
  3. Save the file.
